Community Speedwatch Colston Road 22/8/17

Speedwatch was carried out today by Cllr. A. Wilson, S. Ward and J. Hallam – thank you.

The speed watch took place between the hours of 07.30 and 08.34am.

5 vehicles in excess of 50mph
16 vehicles in excess of 40mph
1 vehicle in excess of 37mph

A full police speed team presence has been requested for this area.

Community Speedwatch Nottingham Road 15th August 2017

A community speed watch was undertaken on Nottingham Road on the 15th August between the hours of 07.27 and 08.28am. The speedwatch was carried out by Cllr. A. Wilson and Mr. J. Hallam – thank you for giving up your time.

7 vehicles were recorded travelling in excess of 40mph
3 vehicles were recorded in excess of 37mph

Speedwatch Statistics Colston Road 10th August 2017

A Community Speed Watch was carried out on 10th August 2017 between the hours of 07.26am and 08.26am. The speed checks were carried out by Cllr. A. Wilson and Mr. J. Hallam.

2 vehicles were recorded doing in excess of 60mph
5 vehicles in excess of 50mph
15 vehicles in excess of 40mph
4 vehicles in excess of 37mph

Two HGV’s that should not be using this stretch of the highway were also reported.

A request for the full police check vehicle has been made for Colston Road.

SPEEDWATCH 1ST AUGUST 2017 – COLSTON ROAD

A community Speed Watch was undertaken today on Colston Road between the hours of 07.30 and 08.20. The speed watch was undertaken by Cllr. Wilson, J. Hallam and S. Ward.

The speed limit in this area is 30mph and the following results were recorded.

3 cars in excess of 50mph
18 cars in excess of 40mph

SPEEDWATCH 27TH JULY 2017 – COLSTON ROAD

Speedwatch was carried out on the 27th July 2017 between the hours of 07.26 and 08.26.  The speed checks were carried out by Cllr. A. Wilson, S. Ward and J. Hallam.

This road has a 30mph speed limit and the following results were registered.

1 vehicle doing 65mp
4 vehicles in excess of 50mph
23 vehicles in excess of 40mph
1 vehicle in excess of 37mph

NOTTINGHAM ROAD – ROADWORKS FROM 21ST – 25TH AUGUST

There will be 3 way traffic lights on Nottingham Road in the Memorial Hall area

From Monday 21st August to Friday 25th August.

 

Western Power will be removing some of the overhead cables and putting them

Underground.

SPEEDWATCH COLSTON ROAD 18TH JULY 2017

A community Speed Watch was carried out on 18th July 2017 between the hours of 7.23am to 8.26am. The speed watch was carried out by John Hallam, Sue ward, Cllr. Nigel Lockley and Cllr. Alan Wilson.

The speed limit along this road is 30mph.

One driver was registered doing a speed of 63mph
Four drivers in excess of 50mph
Thirty drivers in excess of 40mph
Seven drivers in excess of 37mph

All drivers please slow down this road is 30mph for a reason.

First published in 2003 the Rushcliffe Nature Conservation Strategy is intended to promote the development of nature conservation and encourage increased local community engagement with wildlife across Rushcliffe.
