An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the decision of Nottinghamshire County Council to refuse to grant planning permission for the above development.

The appeal will be determined on the basis of a hearing and we will advise our parishioners when the hearing date is set. All previous representation has been sent to the Planning Inspectorate and the appellant and will be considered by the Inspector when determining the appeal.

The hearing will be a public hearing held at County Hall, West Bridgford and will be open to members of the public. Once again the Parish Council and Nottinghamshire County Council will be fighting this case and making representation at the meeting. There were 4 speakers present at the Development Control Meeting at County Hall – Cllr. A. Wilson Chairman of the Parish Council, Mr. Ian Skailes from the Dairy, Jane Jones and William Gilbert. These speakers will again be speaking on behalf of the village.

As previously stated the meeting will be a public meeting so any parishioners who wish to go to County Hall to lend their support to this appeal would be welcome to attend.

The Parish Council will advise our residents once we are made aware of the hearing date.
