Speedwatch 1/11/6 – Colston Road

A Speed Watch session was undertaken this morning on Colston Road between the hours of 7.25am and 8.30am.

3 cars were recorded and reported doing 50mph +
11 cars were recorded and reported doing 40mph+
1 car was recorded and reported doing 37mph+

Please be aware this road ins 30mph for a reason please adhere to it.

Speedwatch – 15th September 2016 – Colston Road

A speedwatch was carried out this morning on Colston Road between the hours of 7.15am and 8.21am.

During the speedwatch session 11 vehicles were recorded doing in excess of 50mph, 13 vehicles in excess of 40mph and 4 vehicles in excess of 37mph.

THIS ROAD HAS A 30MPH SPEED LIMIT AND WE WOULD URGE ANYONE DRIVING ON THIS STRETCH OF ROAD TO PLEASE SLOW DOWN.

Speedwatch – 13/9/16 – Nottingham Road, Cropwell Bishop

The speedwatch team were out this morning on Nottingham Road commenting at 7.15am and finishing at 8.00am

During this time the team recorded 1 vehicle in excess of 50mph, 7 vehicles in excess of 40mph and 1 vehicle in excess of 37mph.

This road is a 30mph zone please slow down and keep our parishioners and road users safe.

SPEEDWATCH – COLSTON ROAD CROPWELL BISHOP – 6TH SEPTEMBER

The speedwatch team were out this morning on Colston Road from the hours of 7.20am to 8.25am.

During this time they recorded 3 vehicles in excess of 50mph, 14 vehicles in excess of 40mph and 3 vehicles over 37mph.

This road is a 30mph zone, please will drivers take care and reduce their speed.

Speedwatch – Colston Gate 18th August

This morning Alan Wilson and John Hallam carried out a community speed watch session on Colston Road between 7.25am and 8.30pm.

The team recorded 7 vehicles travelling over 37mph 5 of which were are travelling at 40mph plus, 2 over 50mph

The Parish Council would appeal for drivers to please slow down, a recent fatality shows how dangerous this stretch of road can be.

Speedwatch – Colston Road 26th July

This morning Alan Wilson and John Hallam carried out a community speed watch session on Colston Road between 7.30am and 8.30pm.

The team recorded 7 vehicles travelling over 37mph 4 of which were are travelling at 40mph plus, 2 over 50mph and 1 over 60mph

This is far too fast on this section of road – drivers please slow down!!.

Speed Watch 27th April 2015

This morning Alan Wilson, John Hallam and Sue Ward carried out a community speed watch session on Nottingham Road between 7.24am and 8.30pm.

The team recorded 12 vehicles travelling over 37mph 9 of which were are travelling at 40mph plus.

Please drivers take care on our village streets.

Speed Watch 23rd April 2015

Alan Wilson, John Hallam and Sue Ward carried out Speed Watch on Colston Road, Cropwell Bishop from 7.30am to 8.30am today.

They recorded 7 vehicles over 37mph on of which was speeding at 50mph.

COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH 15TH APRIL 2015

S. Ward, J. Hallam, T. Jarrow and Cllr. Wilson of your community speed watch team were today out on Nottingham Road between the hours of 7.25am and 8.25am.

The team recoded 23 speeding vehicles 22 travelling through our village at over 40mph and 1 travelling at over 50mph.

Thank you to the team for your continued efforts in attempting to make our village a safe place.

COMMUNITY SPEEDWATCH 14TH APRIL 2015

S. Ward, J. Hallam, T. Jarrow and Cllr. Wilson were out this morning on Colston Road carrying out a community speed watch between the hours of 7.25am and 8.30am.

The team recorded 7 vehicles speeding 3 over 50mph and the remainder in the high 40mph speed bracket.
