I was born and raised in Nottinghamshire and have lived in Cropwell Bishop for the last 15 years, having grown up in Ravenshead.

My professional background is in Project Management and I have worked for many years for a local consultancy specialising in construction and heritage projects for both Local Authorities and private clients.  My main hobbies are reading, hiking, running and the outdoors generally and I can often be spotted running and walking in the countryside surrounding Cropwell Bishop with my partner, Tina.  For many years I also served on the Committee of a large Ramblers Association walking group.

I am particularly interested in issues relating to the local environment including building development, conservation, traffic, access rights, green spaces and the wider countryside including the Grantham Canal.  As such, I hope I can be an active member of the Parish Council and contribute to all work that they do in making Cropwell Bishop such a great place to live.
