It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning, 9th April, at Windsor Castle.

The Royal Family join with people around the world mourning is loss.

Here at Cropwell Bishop Parish Council, our thoughts are with Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family and everyone who knew His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, at this incredible sad time.

Condolence Details:

An in person Book of Condolence for HRH Prince Philip will now not be in place at Rushcliffe Arena as previously outlined, in line with national advice.

Instead, residents without online access can leave messages of condolence:
• At a County Library, where staff will be able to support customers to complete the online return.
• By sending their message to Nottinghamshire County Council by free-post and this will be uploaded to the national book of condolence.
• From today, by telephone to Nottinghamshire County Council’s Customer Services Centre where they can dictate a message for uploading. This can be completed by calling 0300 500 8080

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
