I have lived in Cropwell Bishop since 2001 with Abbiegail and her two daughters Victoria and Georgina and we married at St Giles church in December 2014.

I worked in the security industry mainly with ADT and Secom servicing Intruder, CCTV and access control systems and after I retired in 2017 I became more involved in the community.

The 1st Cropwell bishop scout group was formed 10 years ago and i was a founder member and am a scout assistant leader with the group. I also represent St Giles Church on the Parochial Church Council of Wiverton in the Vale parish and last November took over the chairmanship of Cropwell Bishop Memorial Hall.

In my spare time I love to watch cricket and am a member at Trent Bridge and enjoy walking our 2 dogs Moby and Eddy I like to read History and detective novels and go to a lot of local football games in the winter months

Raised in Cropwell Bishop, I have lived within the village for my whole life, besides student years spent in Kent and in Canada and in 2023 moving to Cotgrave. One of my favourite things about Cropwell Bishop is how many things are going on; from fun exercise classes to tea and cake. I have been involved with the former Girl Guide unit, insomuch that I refused to leave so became a young leader!

Having recently graduated, my current work involves helping vulnerable individuals with their finances. Outside of work, you will probably find me walking through some of the glorious countryside Cropwell Bishop has to offer … or on a flight to the other side of the world.

For the most part, I aim to bring the view of those in the 20s to the table. I care greatly about the public transport links for the village, and hope to bring everyone together for a thriving village community.

I have lived in Cropwell Bishop since 1999, having grown up in Gotham and Radcliffe-on-Trent.I have two sons aged 12 and 14 who went to the village playgroup and primary school and who are now at Toothill. After working for a bank for 25 years I decided on a total career change and now have a fabulous job as a teaching assistant at our village school. I also run our village youth club, CKOB, and with some great volunteers we entertain in excess of 40 children each fortnight. As a result, my particular areas of interest are youth, environmental issues and personnel. I feel this village is a wonderful, vibrant place to live and hope to contribute to ensuring that continues.
