Cllr Reed Gudgin
I moved to the village in 2022 and quickly found myself feeling at home within its welcoming community. I work locally as a bus driver for Trent Barton, a role that keeps me closely connected to people across the area. My family and I are fully involved in village life. I have three children, all of whom take part in local activities—from youth club to football—and my youngest two attend the village primary school. Seeing them grow up in such a supportive environment has strengthened my commitment to helping the village continue to thrive. Outside of work and council duties, I’m passionate about sport and music. I enjoy playing guitar and have a growing vinyl collection that reflects my love of music, new and old.
As a parish councillor, my priority is to help build an inclusive, vibrant community where everyone feels they belong. I want to support initiatives that allow the village to flourish and to ensure that residents of all ages have opportunities to participate and be heard.

CROPWELL BISHOP PARISH COUNCIL.
Cllr.Mark Barlow
I left the Prison Service and became an AA recovery patrol and transferred into the AA’s manufacturer technical training division where I trained and became a technical trainer for Volkswagen Group at the AA College at Widmerpool. During this time, I became a Parish Councillor for the village.
My role was transferred to Milton Keynes to which I commuted daily and after doing this for 2 years I sought a career nearer to home and joined Leicestershire Police as a Police Officer. I served for 17 years and in my service performed a variety of roles some which included being a local beat officer both in the City and County. It was at this time I left the Parish Council due to a conflict of interest.
During this time, I left the village for 10 years moving approximately 5 miles away. Due to having family in the village, I had regular contact with things happening within the village.
I took over the running of the family farm in 2023 and the family and I are now living back in the village, and I am a volunteer with the RAFAC – The Royal Air Force Cadets.
I am keen to take an active part in the village and help the village where I can. If you see me when you are out and about, please come and chat to me.

Cllr.Pam Wregg
I have lived in Cropwell Bishop since 2005, returning to Nottinghamshire after spending 5 yrs. working in London and the South East in a Customer Service role. Since retiring, I have been able to take a more active role in village life and will endeavour to help the Parish Council make Cropwell Bishop a great place to live.
My grandson attends Cropwell Bishop Primary School and I volunteer at the School Gardening Club, also supporting Friends of School. This gives me some insight into residents’ concerns and challenges including Environmental issues, increasingly impacting on our lives
After raising concerns about speeding traffic through the Village, I joined the Village Community Speed watch Team, primarily with the aim of increasing driver speed awareness as they pass through the village.
I am Secretary of the Growers & Gardeners at the Village Gardening Club and encourage everyone to get outside and keep physically active…not necessarily Gardening!
